How I Found Our Latest Ubermodel

I am not a stalker… I just felt the need to state that at the beginning of this post.

When we sat down recently to plan for Mother’s Day we decided we wanted to create some beautiful new images to share with you guys.

I had visions of gorgeous babies and happy mums wearing our jewellery and so we spent a a few hours looking at models and discussing the possibility of using friends of ours in the shoot.

Then as fate would have it, later that night while I was wasting time down the rabbit hole that is otherwise known as instagram, I stumbled across a gorgeous photo of our letter ring that #uberkate had been tagged in and I couldn’t help but click across to the account that owned the image.

It was there that I found myself ogling the account of a gorgeous mumma Emma and I sat there spooling through the beautiful images of her and her divine baby and ahmmm Handsome Husband.

My little brain exploded and I just knew we had to ask her to model for us and so we contacted her through instagram and the mutual love affair began.

On a beautiful summery day Emma, Zayne, and Steve came to our studio on the Northern Beaches and we created the most stunning images with them.

You see our jewellery is best worn on real people, with real love, and with real families and I truly believe this shines through in the images.

We will revisit Emma’s family in the year ahead as I’m now addicted to seeing Zayne’s smile.

I can’t wait to see what he looks like at 12 months!

Don’t forget to follow us on instagram and tag us in your pictures with #uberkate – we love seeing your pics and besides, you never know where it could lead.
