New Stones... Adding To Our #Everyday Cocktail Rings

29 Sep, 2016

I am an intuitive jeweller...

What is an intuitive jeweller I hear you ask!?

It's someone who works with and creates by listening to a physical response to both metal, design and stones.

I didn't know I was such a person, until a gorgeous friend is who both intuitive and a hands on healer pointed it out during a consult on some beautiful pieces for her to wear when she works on healing people and their energy.

Earlier this year, I spent a week in Hong Kong visiting stone traders and immersing myself in the global jewellery trade. I went there specifically to meet with a fellow jeweller who could help me create the "thread screw" on our new Fly By Uberkate range.

As an aside, I visited many stone sellers and as I walked down an aisle full of huge chunks of rough semi precious stones, I fell head over heels in accidental love with PINK OPAL.

I didn't know anything about the stone... I didn't know opal came in pink or that there is also black opal, white opal, fire opal, boulder opal, (and many more), but this huge chunk of pink stone made my heart flutter.

I sprayed water onto it as the seller showed me to do and inside I was breath taken by the variances and depth of colour.

And so I accidentally bought a big ole pile of it!

And then I accidentally saw and fell in love with a big pile of Lapis Lazuli, followed by a chunk of gorgeous milky rose Quartz.

I wasn't there to buy stones, but my soul couldn't leave without taking them with me.

The stones have been waiting patiently for me to have the time to work with our stone cutter to shape them into something beautiful.

I had pretty much already decided that we needed an #everyday cocktail ring in a range of colours and when we shared them with you last week to see which of the new stones to add to the range... I was blown away by your response. When we counted up the votes for each stone, we discovered there were equal votes for all three rings... and so all three rings it is!

We are taking pre orders and will use up all the stone we have to fill those first orders, so if you have your heart set on one, please don't let yourself miss out. We only have limited stone and once we sell out, that's it until we source more beauties from around the Globe.

Each stone is unique, there will be no other stone like it, it will have variances, and it will be perfectly imperfect.

It will be hand faceted by our stone cutter and it will uniquely yours.

Interestingly I have just discovered what each stone can do for the wearer so I thought I would share with you guys a brief rundown on the healing/ meaning of each of the three new stones in our Everyday Cocktail Range.

Our Everyday Cocktail rings are readily available in Larimar and Green Amethyst and the Lapis, Rose Quartz and Pink Opal are available here for pre order with an estimated mid October delivery.

PINK OPAL

Colour: Vibrant pink. Not quite hot pink, but the depth of colour.

Love | Emotional Healing | Hope

A Pink Opal Stone is powerful crystal when used for emotional healing, balance and matters of the heart.

If you are healing from a break up, or the loss of a loved one, holding and meditating with pink opal over your heart chakra will help to bring resolution to painful memories, and fill your aura with peaceful energies.

ROSE QUARTZ

Colour: Very pale pink. Clear to see through in some places.

Joy | Healing | Romance

Rose Quartz is frequently referred to as the 'love stone' because it emits a strong vibration of unconditional love, joy, warmth, compassion, romantic feelings, sensuality and healing.

Quartz is a profound amplifier of energy and so this stone will resonate the love energy, happiness into the surrounds of it's wearer and will aid all those nearby, such as your nearest and dearest.

LAPIS LAZULI

Colour: Vibrant blue with gold threads through it.

Truth | Intuition | Calming

Lapis Lazuli Stones are often used to increase the vibrations of truth and enlightenment, and these intense blue stones are ideal for opening the third eye and stimulating intuition.

Lapis Lazuli is a useful stone to wear to aid in relieving anger and negative thoughts, as well as easing the frustrations that cause the anger.

They particularly resonate with the energy of our inner Queen.
