As a small family run company we are continually striving to think big and to innovate.
As many of you know my background (and Mr Ubers) is TV producing. So I get more than a tad excited when we get the chance to be all creative and make our Christmas television campaign for you all.
It's a huge investment for a small business and every year I hold my breath until it starts going to air…
This year we did things a little bit differently.
When I sat down to think about what we wanted to show you, I went through so many waves of imagining huge big budget block buster movies, but at the end of the day we are but a family of jewellers creating family heirlooms for real people.. so we thought "why not use real people in our campaign instead"!?
The first mama we feature in our campaign is the gorgeous Tess who was my daughter Lulus' teacher in year 3!
Tess was not yet married when we met and she certainly didn't have the two beautiful little people who feature with her in our commerical. This woman has an incredible heart and we have stayed in touch as her family has grown. She is such an Uberwoman.
Next up is my daughter Lulu and her best friend Heidi. These two beautiful girls have grown into such amazing young women that we are so incredibly proud of.
Lulu and I launched our first collaboration Fly by Uberkate this year so of course I had to beg her to be in our campaign.
And finally the very serene amazingly beatuful and talented @oneloveyoga Kirsty Kristensen and her tribe of stunning girls. Working with these four was a dream and the naturalness of their love and connection shone through every scene we shot with them. I met Kirsty last year when i took my first ever yoga class under her incredible guidance and instruction.
So here it is... three groups of real people... all connected to Uberkate by a beautiful thread.
